The New Bedford Fire Fighters Association, Local 841, IAFF has endorsed Scott W.Lang for Mayor of New Bedford. The vote was taken after members met separately with 4 of the candidates for Mayor.
Scott is the former attorney of the Local and has been considered a good friend for many years, however it was Scott’s presentation and answers to our members questions that convinced us we should give our endorsement. As an attorney Scott Lang has represented both sides of the bargaining table but his passion is representing unions and working people.
Most importantly, Scott Lang really CARES about people and the kind of City in which we want to live.
